Patty Morgan Norberg, AIA

Architect Principal

Patty Norberg started building houses on a small scale. Miniature, even. Her mother crafted tiny houses, so Patty and her siblings grew up creating miniscule worlds while seated at the kitchen table.

Patty has been with CSHQA since graduating with her architecture degree from the University of Idaho more than 30 years ago. As the scale of Patty’s projects has increased, so has her enthusiasm. As a Principal and Managing Architect, she is a project linchpin: negotiating, selecting the right team, and working with the client to meet every objective. She is happiest when the client is happy. She supports new innovation, which draws upon her creative and artistic abilities, and is always working to further CSHQA’s sustainability design skills.

Her creativity extends into her personal life — she makes jewelry and cards, ties flies for her husband, makes incredible cakes, and creates pumpkin carving patterns inspired by her travels. When she isn’t creating, she’s enjoying Idaho’s mountains and streams.
