Melissa Pierson has always had a passion for design and a natural ability to decorate. Pursuing interior design allowed her to transform her hobby into a career. As Interior Designer II she leads project management, construction documents, FF&E selection and coordination for a variety of projects. She enjoys creating safe, functional, and aesthetically appealing spaces that influence occupants for years to come. “The environments and trends are ever changing making design constantly inspiring.”
A key project prior to joining CSHQA was transforming the first floor of Delta Dental of Kentucky into an inviting and efficient space. She was able to establish a relationship with their team working together to create a design that addressed their wants and needs. She enjoyed being a part of the design process from initial client meeting through project completion. “It is very rewarding to see the finished result of a project you designed!”
Starting every day with a workout makes Melissa energized and ready to start the day! She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children (Matthew 3, Hannah 1). They keep her quite busy, but also remind her of the importance in appreciating the simple things in life. Beyond spending time with friends and family she enjoys traveling and attending sporting events!
